Runners enjoyed beautiful weather and the lack of mud on this relatively flat course. Congratulations to everyone and particularly to our team counters Jess Young, Emily Abey, Sarah Botting and Martha McBarron.
Ultra Tour de Yorkshire Dales
Stuart Clarkson has had an incredible year for ultra running and showed his usual grit and determination to complete this 100K event.
Yorkshire 10M and marathon
Depiste the cold, wet weather sarah Botting and Jennifer Smithosn ran swift times on the 10 mile course and Grace Gilpin put in yet another great marathon performance, finishing in 4.11.27.

John Cantrell and Claire Stewart both pushed themselves out of their comfort zone, with Claire running her longest race for a while and John completing his first event in the Lakes.
National fell relays
Swaledale Runners had the good fortune to get two teams into this big event, which took place at Appletreewick this year.
Langdale Marathon
For once the runners were blessed with good weather in Langdale. Allan Bell claims not to like hills, but he cruised in at 4:09. Mark Sowerby had the misfortune of falling ill a few days beforehand but turned up regardless and finished in an amazing time of 4:21. Martha McBarron chose this as her first marathon and smashed her target of finishing in under 5 hours as first FV60. Peter Butler enjoyed the half marathon and finished in 2:16.
Kielder marathon
The ever-consistent Martin Randall completed his 14th Kielder marathon in 3.46.04, followed by the equally enthusiastic Niall Cheyne in 5.18.
Lakes in a Day
Congratulations to Ian Oldham and Michael Devereux-Cole who ran this epic race together, finishing in 15.17.40.
